Muscle Building Grocery List


If you take the time to train with weights on a regular basis, there's only one way you'll ever be able to see and feel the benefits of training regularly, and that's to eat correctly. It depends where you shop but a bodybuilders diet does not need to cost an arm and a leg.

To build muscle you need to eat more than three times a day and this only comes about from planning. Below you'll see a grocery list of muscle building foods that can be used to create 5 meals every day from Monday to Friday for only $75. If that sounds expensive to you then you probably live in another country.

Your own tastes and preferences are going to customize your grocery list to suit your specific tastes, however the grocery list below is a good minimum requirement for any bodybuilder. The list is split out between protein and dairy produce, fat and sauces that are made or purchased plus the carbs and vegetables.

Your own specific calorie range is very different to someone else's, the grocery list below should include all the required macros you'll need to create your own meal plan, suited to you. The seasonings, spices, oils and the type of supplements and vitamins you use are all excluded from the $75 weekly budget below.

In order to get the best freshness from your pre-prepared meals it's a good idea to freeze them and then take it out of the freezer the night before you eat it. Shopping at your farmer's market and looking for the best prices is also part of the $75 deal, if you only purchased the expensive stuff, it could be $150.
